One of my favourite places for doing Delphi live presentations is definitely Czech Republic. This week in Brno, the second biggest Czech city after Prague, more than hundred Delphi and C++Builder developers came to see the tour of the latest version of RAD Studio 10.1 Berlin.
There was a lot of interest in building end-to-end solution with the new RAD Server and the Internet of Things. It was a lot of fun showing Enterprise Mobility Services and Thing Point applications gathering data over Bluetooth LE from different IoT devices like heartbeat and blood pressure meters. The new EMS Swagger YAML and JSON automatic generation has been nicely received as well.
It is always great to meet Delphi enthusiasts like Radek who runs very active Delphi.cz community web site.
Every time I meet Richard Kubat, who runs Embt.cz, it is always about jazz/fusion/rock and other music flavours. This year the biggest discovery was great American band Snarky Puppy. The whole morning before the presentation I was playing Snarky Puppy songs on YouTube. Good mood is the key to successful presentation:-)
